We were surprised and delighted to receive our first ever 'Glow Award' at this year's SpaFest, hosted by Made for Life Foundation.
We were surprised and delighted to receive our first ever 'Glow Award' at this year's SpaFest, hosted by Made for Life Foundation. The award for innovation was received by Manor House Therapies Manager, Lisa Kerr and St Columba's Hospice Care's Adam Underwood, for the development of our new holistic wellbeing space, Manor House Therapies
Presenting the award, Amanda Winwood of Made for Life Organics said:
"Innovation is about seeing the unseen, spotting connections others miss and making them real. This year’s winner has brought together two worlds you might never expect to meet: the comfort and care of a hospice, and the tranquillity and rejuvenation of a spa. This inspired project will not only offer relaxation to the community but will also generate vital funds for the hospice’s ongoing work...proving that creative thinking really can change lives!"
Lisa and Adam were also guest panelists at a session exploring the industry’s role in providing inclusive care across the spectrum from vitality to vulnerability.
